PVMBG again lowered the status of Mount Tangkubanparahu located in the Cikole village, Lembang district, West Bandung regency (KBB), from alert or level 2 to  normal, starting from Sunday (27/10/2013) at 15:00 pm,.

Chairman of the Emergency Response Team PVMBG, Umar Rosadi, said the decline in status is based on the observation team to look at various aspects PVMBG and Tangkubanparahu mainly from volcanic activity levels of gas, seismic activity, deformation and smoke coming out of the crater of the Queen. Wisatawan Tangkubanparahu Wajib Waspada

TRIBUNNEWS.COM, BANDUNG - Meski statusnya sudah kembali normal, Pusat Vulkanologi Mitigasi Bencana Geologi (PVMBG) tetap meminta para wisatawan yang datang ke kawasan wisata Gunung Tangkubanparahu untuk tetap berhati-hati. Setiap pengunjung tidak diperkenankan turun ke areal Kawah Ratu.

PVMBG kembali menurunkan status Gunung Tangkubanparahu yang terletak di Desa Cikole, Kecamatan Lembang, Kabupaten Bandung Barat (KBB), dari waspada atau level 2 menjadi normal, terhitung sejak Minggu (27/10/2013) pukul 15.00 WIB,.

Ketua Tim Tanggap Darurat dari PVMBG, Umar Rosadi, mengatakan penurunan status ini didasarkan pada hasil pengamatan tim PVMBG dengan melihat berbagai aspek serta aktivitas vulkanik Gunung Tangkubanparahu terutama kadar gas, aktivitas kegempaan, deformasi serta asap yang keluar dari Kawah Ratu. Seluruh aktivitas vulkanik cenderung menurun.(zam)
